About us
The Student Recruitment team delivers a wide range of marketing and promotional services supporting the University's domestic student recruitment goals. The unit has a client-focused role in undergraduate and postgraduate recruitment that includes:
- publishing undergraduate and postgraduate course materials, in print and electronic formats
- organising recruitment events, both on and off campus
- participating in outreach programs throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales in secondary schools, workplaces, TAFEs and community settings.
The team is supported by over 100 students appointed as ambassadors for QUT. Student ambassadors participate in school visits, campus tours and career events in Brisbane and regional areas and play an important role in reaching out to prospective students. Student ambassadors also participate in the Email a Student program and feature in QUT publications.
